A Force Gauge (also induce gage) is a little measuring instrument used across all industries to assess the force during a push or pull evaluation. Software exist in research and development, laboratory, quality, production and field environment. There are two kinds of force gauges today: mechanical and digital force gauges. A digital force gauge is essentially a handheld instrument that contains a load cell, electronic component, software and a display. A load cell is an electronic device which is used to convert a drive to an electric signal. Through a mechanical structure, the force being felt deforms a strain gauge. The strain gauge exerts the deformation (strain) to electrical signals. The applications and electronic equipment of this force gauge convert the voltage of the load cell to a force value that is displayed on the instrument. Evaluation units of force measurements are commonly newtons or pounds. The peak force is the most common result in force testing applications. It's used to find out if a part is great or not. Some examples of force measurement: door latch, caliber of spring, wire testing, strength ... but more complicated tests can be carried out like peeling, friction, feel. Imada provides both mechanical and digital force gauges capable of the precise dimensions required to determine the quality, strength or functionality of a part or product. Imada force gauges quantify both compression and pressure (pull or push) forces. Mechanical Force Gauges Imada mechanical force gauges measure force in real time or peak modes, do not need batteries or charging and are safe in hazardous environments. Low capability gauges measure up to 150 lbf and higher capacity models up to 500 lbf. The compact model fits into confined spaces and steps force around 50 lbf. The all metal construction lets them keep their calibration for many years with proper care. Each gauge comes in a hard plastic carrying case with a selection of attachments. Digital Force Gauges Imada digital force gauges have selectable components, programmable high/low setpoints and output peak or constant data for collection by optional data acquisition applications in USB, RS232, Digimatic and analog formats. Imada low ability digital gauges measure ranges up to 220 lbf, higher capacity gauges measure up to 1,100 lbf and our pressure gauge with remote detector steps up to 4,400 lbf. Each kit includes a choice of attachments and a hard plastic carrying case. Torque Gauges Torque Gauge are intended for clockwise and counter-clockwise torque testing. The Jacob's chuck is a versatile attachment and can be used for a variety of applications. Imada, Inc. provides durable, precise and accurate strength, hardness, torque and force measurement instruments and related force measurement type gear to a variety of industries -- aerospace, automotive, medical, electronics, food and beverage, packaging, construction equipment, etc..
